A complete set, comprising The Age of Oak, The Age of Walnut, The Age of Mahogany, and The Age of Satinwood. Illustrated with colour plates after Shirley Slocombe and numerous illustrations arranged by the author.

Red buckram bindings with gilt titles to the front boards and spines. Bindings in fine condition with light spotting to the endpapers. Dust wrappers very good with minor wear and small tears at the extremities.

An important work on English furniture design, rare in this condition with dust wrappers intact. A desirable set for both furniture collectors and bibliophiles.
